At the Gate is a 2019, bay filly recently arrived by way of Beyond the Wire in Maryland. She raced 17 times and probably paid her bills before retiring with a crack in a shin. We are always very excited to take horses in with this type of injury as they do so well!

At the Gate is by Mosler (by War Front) and out of a Malibu Moon mare. She is very sweet and our vet liked her a lot during her evaluation. Her shin is understandably still sore to palpation but she's been cleared to go into the round pen for 60 days before we repeat the radiographs. She's been very well behaved for that limited turnout with her companion pony Styx (the resident mini).
