Aikmans Audible was one of the horses we took to Equine Affair in the fall of 2025. That was where Kaitlyn met and fell in love with him. She is excited to take him home and start building a relationship with him.

Aikmans Audible is a big, 16.2 hand, 3 year old, bay gelding that came to After the Races by way of New Start out of Penn National. Aikman's Audible is unsurprisingly by Audible, and is out of a Stephen Got Even mare. This mean's he's also a grandson of Into Mischief and carries other greats such as Harlan's Holiday, Gulch, AP Indy, and Mr Prospector a few generations back.

Audible ran just 7 times and had his last timed workout at the end of June. He came to ATR in the middle of rehabbing an apical sesamoid fracture. Neither the vet at the track nor our vet here thought his injury would be very limiting long term. He's since completed all of his rehab, has recovered, is turned out, and is ready to go back to work!

Audible is a big, honest gelding who is kind and has no vices. He transitioned to turnout with another gelding seamlessly. He's definitely one to consider for anyone with reasonable goals. As long as you aren't aiming for the upper levels of eventing he'll likely do very well.

As he was only just cleared to go back to work we've only sat on him in the round pen so far for a little walk/trot but he was very willing and easy going back to work.
