Westview was adopted in April of 2024 by Laura and her family in PA. Their family is making the switch from standardbreds to thoroughbreds with West View and are excited to bring him along nice and slowly. While they do have some hopes and dreams for the future, they're going to let Westview tell them what he enjoys. We love that approach and wish them all the best!

Westview is a gorgeous, 3 year old, bay gelding who came to us directly from his owners and trainer. He is unraced due to life changes on the side of his owners but was in very good care and came to us in gorgeous shape. Westview is by Super Ninety Nine and out of a Prospect Bay mare.

First impression is he's a good natured horse. We have every reason to expect Westview is clean and sound and has an unlimited future ahead. Our veterinarian recently confirmed this so he should be a great one to consider regardless of your level of riding.

Westview has been good to handle, great for the vet and farrier. He's learning about our indoor wash stall (he stands in it fine once he's backed in - a minor issue we'll resolve quickly!). We also have seen him doing some mild cribbing. Weirdly we haven't seen him do it in the barn yet, but we have noticed it a couple times in turnout around feeding time.

Likely would do great in a home with electric fencing as it seems to be very mild. He seems like a very quality horse, definitely worth considering in spite of what cribbing has been observed!
