My Sacred Place is a big, dark bay, 6 year old gelding who stands just over 16.2 hands. He arrived to us by way of Aftercare Charles Town, retiring after 30 races. While pretty sound, he had a chip in one knee which was an easy thing to remove, so it was taken out and he's expected to do great once he finishes healing.

"Buddha" is by Temple City and out of an Awesome Again mare. He sold for $73,000 as a yearling and we can see why. He is a class act. Super sweet and easy to work around. He has been the perfect patient for his recovery and is expected to have a great prognosis for an athletic career.

Buddha is currently in the hand walking stage of his rehab, and will progress to small paddock turnout probably mid to late March. He should be ready to return to work approximately mid-April.

Buddha has no vices and is a very sweet boy. He's definitely one to consider for the Recover at Home program!
