Justin is a gorgeous 4-year-old, 16+ hand, chestnut gelding packed with potential. Justin was unraced, but did suffer a bowed tendon from which he has recovered 100%. The bow was not that severe, and it was last scanned in January. As of January Justin was cleared for full turn-out and light riding, and has been allowed back into full work by March. Justin has been ridden lightly since recovering and is doing very well!
Justin has absolutely no vices and would do well in any barn. He is an absolute sweetheart in the stall and never gave us any problems even when having his leg worked on. He stands for the farrier and vet, and has a puppy-dog personality. We have done walk/trot/canter so far with him and lightly introduced him to cross-rails and cavilettis, but he is ready to go into training for a new job. Our vet assures us that he can go on without limitations to any home, foxhunting, show jumping, eventing, or even just trail riding… this horse will make an amazing partner.
Due the the large expense of rehabilitating this gorgeous horse, we are asking $2,000 for Justin at this time.
