Elector is a 17 hand, 6 year old OTTB gelding with a lot of personality. He is a flashy chestnut whose pictures do not do him justice. In the barn he is a goofball. He loves people almost more than horses and really is a barn favorite among volunteers and visitors.
Under saddle we have been doing walk/trot/canter with this boy out in our ring area (essentially a large paddock) and have only just begun introducing him to trails. In the ring he can be pretty well focused and has begun learning some basic dressage. He has a great headset and carries himself well. He is learning to move off our legs and really seems to like to work. His canter can be collected and is not racey but he is a big boy with big strides!
Due to his sesamoid injury at the track, Lexi should not go to a home that will have him do much jumping. He is certainly 100% sound for flat work, trails, and competitive dressage and he would really excel in a show ring with his good looks.

Lexi has been adopted by Bob and Shawn in Quarryville, PA where he will live a much loved life of being a family horse and companion. They plan to take him on trails and play with him and generally spoil him rotten. He has another 17 hand OTTB gelding he lives with along with a couple mares and is loving all the attention!
