Dazzling Reality is a very cute, 3 year old OTTB gelding. He came to us very calm, cool and collected and has maintained this wonderful personality! He stands just at 16 hands even and certainly has room left to grow. Dazzling Reality, who we call Houdini after he learned how to open his stall door, is a very sweet guy.
Houdini is sound and ready to be retrained for a new job in absolutely any discipline. He does have a very slight confirmational issue that you wouldn’t see looking at him. When he moves, his back left hoof dishes ever so slightly. This is not terribly uncommon and in no way limits his abilities.
We have been riding Houdini extensively on the trails around the farm and he has been doing great, even leading the way on most trail rides. He has great gates on the trail and has been ridden in just a rubber snaffle. He has traversed logs and debris and recently was introduced to water crossings. We have also begun introducing him to riding in a ring and he has been great. Very brave, did not even give the jumps a second glance. We truly believe this horse will grow to make a fantastic jumper.

Houdini was recently adopted by Kyla in Annville, PA. Kyla was looking for a bit of a project and we think she found a great match with Houdini. Together they will be enjoying both English and Western riding, on trails and maybe one day even inside a competitive ring. For now, they’re off to have fun as Houdini finishes growing up and we wish them the absolute best!
