Gracie is an adorable, 15.3 hand, bay 2007 filly that has the best manners of all the horses in the barn. She stands cross tied, is great for the farrier and vet, and has NO vices.
This filly is incredibly sweet, very beautiful and kind, and would probably make an excellent pleasure horse or show horse. Based on her vet evaluation, there is absolutely nothing this girl can’t do. She has been ridden frequently at our farm, has done walk/trot/canter and jumped in a ring and out on trails and is a very good girl. Very quiet mouth, very brave. She has transversed debris and water crossings, and is ready for a new job!
As of 4/23/11: Gracie has trailered to Marsh Creek and gone for long trail rides off the farm and was perfect. She also competed in her first hunter pace. Despite the 1.5 hour trailer ride, she was ready to go for the pace event, had a positive attitude for the entire 6 miles and seemed barely winded afterward. She had her first experience with cross country at the event and did very well, jumping logs, piles, banks, and even coops!

Gracie was adopted on May 17th by a wonderful woman named Danielle. She is going to her new home on the 22nd where she will work with Danielle to become a well-rounded pleasure mount. Danielle plans on doing both Hunter/Jumper and Dressage with Gracie.
