Miss Ten Oaks is a 7 year old, bay, OTTB mare who stands about 16 hands. She is a beautiful horse with a sweet temperament. After earning $71,000 at the track, this mare retired sound though her ankles are a little puffy. She would hold up well to a pleasure riding lifestyle or low level hunter, but likely should not do a lot of jumping.
We currently recommend an experienced rider for Oakley. She’s incredibly sweet and has no vices. She stands great for the farrier and vet, ties and lives with both mares and geldings and does great. She just needs a patient rider who will give her the time she needs to learn a new job and new routine.
