Grand Mistress is a coming-four year old filly who will steal your heart. She’s very symetrically built, with a perfect star and four matching socks on her little chestnut body. Standing at nearly 15.2 hands, this girl is built like a powerhouse! She is built wide and stocky and short throughout her neck and body. A cute mover, this girl would excel in Western disciplines as well as in the English show ring for the right rider.
Grand Mistress was lightly raced and retired sound and sane. She has great barn manners, stands perfectly for the farrier and vet and is fun to ride. We have taken it pretty easy on her since she arrived mere days after her last race, but have sat on her. While incredibly fit and dying to work, she is remarkably restrained. Her first ride in the round pen was on light contact. She has a neat little trot, going right through the wet spots as well as over the good ground. I asked her to canter briefly and she eagerly gave me a nice one.
