Hero is an absolutely gorgeous 16.1 hand chestnut gelding. He is 7 years old and had a full racing career at the track. Hero’s ankles actually x-ray very well, but his right front causes him a lot of discomfort from joint degredation. We have tried several treatments for Hero but it now looks like a life as a pasture horse is his only future. Luckily, he seems to be a fairly easy keeper and has a great personality so we are hoping this will work for him.
Hero has excellent manners, cross-ties, stands for the farrier and vet, loads and bathes like a dream. He is a very sweet guy who will be in need of a great home once he finishes his rehabilitation.
